The beginning of a school year is full of so much anticipation and also is a defining moment in time of another year gone by. I’ve been feeling life is moving faster than I can catch it. I am feeling grief of passing seasons and joy of seasons to come. Motherhood is full of opposing truths in almost every moment of every day.

We recently did a bucket list trip to the state of Oregon. I often see people take these types of vacations and find it overwhelming to actually plan it. I thought it would be fun to break down our trip for others that might possibly be interested.

My word of the year in 2024 was Sabbath.

I longed to understand what Sabbath meant in a spiritual sense but also how to implement it in my life in a practical way.

My oldest son just turned 10.

I feel intuitevly that we are entering a new season and my heart is not ready.

It’s important to be discerning and wise when it comes to screen time. The issue is complex, nuanced, and controversial.
